ANTIDOTE
Fine homes are torn,
Many a great relationships gone
Because love is worn-
Out and trueness deformed.
Purity is grey-haired
And chastity ‘s impaired.
All that's left of men's graces
Is the falsity of their smiling faces.
Behind the scenes of this tragicomedy,
I find that there needs be some catharses.
Though we deny the need for therapy,
The deep cuts of intra-persona rivalries
flaunts on, its mark of attitudinal catastrophe.
If love was of race, it'll be neither black nor white.
I think it'll be uncoloured or better still green,
Nature's most friendly colour, blends with both day and night.
Closest it'll let come to it others, won't be the views on the screens.
There's a cure within,
Hiding behind your chest's curtain.
If we can but love indeed
Then tomorrow is safe, this is certain.
